A new chapter for InterContinental Genève.

After three exceptional years at the helm of the two establishments, Hans Heijligers announces his departure from InterContinental Geneva, closing this chapter with great emotion. Under his leadership, the hotel reached new heights in luxury and service, establishing itself as a key reference in the market.

As of September 10, Mr. Daniel Arbenz, an outstanding hotelier and inspiring leader within the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts group, will become the General Manager of InterContinental Geneva. A Swiss native, Daniel Arbenz brings over 25 years of international hospitality experience across four continents. Educated at the Swiss Hotel Management School in Lucerne (SHL) and having started his career in prestigious Swiss establishments such as Baur au Lac and The Dolder Grand, he went on to hold senior positions in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, particularly with IHG. Daniel joins us after spending the past two years as Area General Manager for IHG Oman OMRAN Hotels & InterContinental Muscat, bringing with him extensive experience and a passion for excellence. His return to his homeland marks an exciting new chapter in his career.
